Older Adult Memory Evaluation
Older Adult Memory Evaluation
A geriatric memory evaluation assesses a range of problems related to cognitive, social and emotional functioning in the older adult which may be because of Alzheimer's Disease or other type of dementias. These diseases can affect a person's capacity to make legal, financial, or medical decisions, and cause changes in personality. An early diagnosis has many advantages including time to make choices that maximize quality of life, a better chance of benefitting from treatments, reduced anxiety about unknown problems, and more time to plan for the future.
Your evaluation will result in a clear understanding of your current functioning and includes a full report for your medical record with clear recommendations. Our goal is to improve your quality of life and provide you with a care plan to improve your functioning and critical resources.
